Don't feel bad, if u say to get the basic license isn't that hard to get might go the NRE and look into it. Been thinking of it for a couple of years, but if the give me cheek like what's happen to you I'll tell them to stick it and just stick to non licensed finchs.

So deb your a big parrot breeder, so how do you find it breeding finches after having hooked beaks and will u ever give them right up? I've given all mine up about 6 year ago don't miss them that much after all the destruction they did to all the trees and wooden frame.much quieter around home

Big breeder NO ...I wish though .
The chewers go into metal suspendeds , all parrots will chew I think so they get plenty of Cypress Pines to destroy .
Am hearing impaired so love the noise sadly I dont hear the finches unless Im very close to them , love the Red Rumps when they talk to the wild visitors , not too keen on the Corellas booming voice though.
Love all birds , I just get more from my parrots . I think Id miss them too much if I didnt have them .

Dont get angry, get a licence. Bit like riding a horse - have a spill but get back on . Sounds like there is a dud in that department in Dubbo because it shouldnt be that hard.jusdeb wrote:Well I finally sucked it up and swallowed that lump of pride in my throat , got in the car and proceeded to make my way to the NPWS office here in Dubbo .
Got a park close enough to be a comfortable walk then just sat there , yep couldnt do it . Memories of how angry they made me last time
Get the licence and get the birds you really want.Getting angry at government departments will get ya no where.Be nice and be patient.

Had two pair of red rumps, lost cock then brought new one to over got very aggressive ,got rid of him then the other pair bred, great day when two fledged, week later two dead chicks broken necks so I understood when you were saying about the young flying about crazy. Its a shame coz had an enthusiasm to breed King parrots but my next door neighbour not to happy about my avery so close to his house so don't want a war, hope he sells up and moves soon.

Not hard at all , I would get the license easy peasy . I just dont want the hassle right now plus until its out of my system this mouth of mine is gonna shoot off and make a dill out of me .
Is all good D/B Ill get it back sooner or later , those Red Brows and Purple Crowns will be too hard to resist

Yes those Red Rumps are bloody hard on them selves when they first fledge . My last lot just had a bloody beak each , now flying like champions .
