Tiaris weve had a good run of blackies down here in sydney recently. Had them grab plastics and what not spinning thru this winter also...seem to get more agro and try different things other then just weed in winter. The jewfish have been hammering the blackfish down here in the georges river also.

Sorry i know its off topic buy my whole life revolves around fishing or me. Its my work also. Couldnt resist :silent:

That's the benefit of a biology background. After you've breed fruit flies for the colour of their eyes, dissected toads after pithing them yourself (google pith if you don't know what that means) and keeping the extracted heart alive for a week or doing a rat dissection over 4 days (coz the lab sessions were 4 days apart and it took longer than one lab class) everything else seems quite normal   .

Maggots, mealworms, crickets, woodies, all the same to me and the birds seem to eat the lot indiscriminately anyway.

hmm well while im waiting for the weevils to appear I went and got some mini mealworms ..they were not so bad the longtails ate them in one gulp so I can console myself it was a quick end.Im looking at getting more .They were brought mainly for the orange breasts and emblemas who were not interested but the red faced finch and the long tails were most enthused, the longtails have even got romantic :wtf:
is the sawdust or whatever they are in safe? I tried to pull them out but the sawdust or whatever stuck a bit..they are pieces brand

If you are looking for Indian Meal Moth - they eat bran, I can sell you some. we do not normally sell them as no-one wants them. They are probably what you are talking about. PM me and we can arrange it.
