I was going with Cinnamon which is sex linked (fawn is recessive).

Two reasons:
1. Only the cock needs to be a split to get coloured young. Seems more likely than both parents being split fawns.
2. The older young one is a hen (the other coloured one must also be a hen if I'm right).

But of course I could be wrong. I remember some time ago I thought I was wrong and then later I discovered I was mistaken.

Thanks Sam, I will take as gospel. Could not believe in the hutongs (read alleyways with communal toilets/showers) that they had these birds with harnesses on them sitting outide happy as Larry. There were different birds as well but SWMBO hurried me up. No photos. Actually she is XSWMBO.!

In the fawn the tail is pink and the cinnamon remains red. Check it out tomorrow. Craig
