G'day Sam,if you magnify it,i'm sure there are red feathers down the front of it.If we don't identify it i'm getting pretty pic happy now i know how to do it :lol: Craig

Photo taken yesterday morning, in the Cumbungi growing around the edge of a little stock dam. I could hear the chickens begging, so thought I would try and find the nest and take a photo for 'What am I'. Sorry for butting in.

Don't know, Willy, but the parents of the chicks in my photo (page 17) have been identified; they are grey shrike-thrush.

Bad bird etiquette full stop!

Something Birdlife Australia and others are trying to discourage and has just yesterday finally been banned by one of the birding groups here in Oz I am a member of.
We are well behind the Europeans when it comes to this.
