Kick a dog up the date for catching a bird and chances are it wont do it again ..a cat can not help itself ...
An animal that can adapt to every environment Australia can throw at them , that can live comfortably on wildlife and very little water , that can hide , climb , outrun and defend itself against the best predators this country has should be listed as a environmental threat and treated as such .
Brownie points to those that do the right thing but they are few and far between .

Cats will get fat killing & eating birds. The best thing is to feed them a lead diet, they will soon lose weight as they decompose. :kitty:

The clang of church bells would be a suitably religious send off :) Good thinking !

cat tree.jpg
There were twelve cats hanging from this mulga tree when Coral Hull took the picture; but the town folk, none of whom will claim responsibility, joke about the tree "sprouting more fruit" by the week. This utter disrespect for life is an abomination before God!

I agree, no tree should be treated that way.

Will someone make sure that that tree gets extra water during any dry spells.
Need to be certain that it is capable of holding many more cats.

I had this pic in the archives. Taken at Quorn in South Australia in May of this year. Could not get over the size of the ferral cats; they were bigger than the foxes. The damage they do to our feathered friends is well recorded.

They keep the top fence wire nice and taut if you get enough of them. Who says they have no use !!
