this is why i think the male is a sfy euro yellow, with a white breast ( which makes him appear yellow )

hopefully blujay can tell us what color neck ring he has, may help in determining what blujay has.

Misso, the color is a very soft pastel, what I would say is turquoise, hope that helps and that I am looking at it correctly! But very little!!

He must be single factor YB & white-breasted then. Which makes the young bird single-factor pastel blue split to white-breasted.

Very interesting bird,and all the guessing is probably right, but a picture of the parents answers a thousand questions,cant be to hard to do seeing as you have photos the young,also would you have any photos of the bird in its juvenile stage,seeing as it must have stood out from the other birds you bred,very interested garyh

@garyh, no other photos, did not occur to me. The baby was some what lighter than the others.
