I really do not like these baby King Quail .

They are like Piranhas in that they sniff out blood and then attack en mass .

They are pecking each others head feathers .

The parents are letting them carry on like savages .

Managed to give 4 away , still leaves 6 babies .

They eat non stop .

I really do not like these baby King Quail .

Hmm never had that problem, are they showing adult colours?
Maybe there is too many in the small aviary a larger one can support heaps when there is lots of places to hide.
I just had another batch come out, not going into extintion just yet

How old? What stage of feathering up? This is odd behaviour unless as suggested they are overcrowded. Or such behaviour can happen if they are short of water, but I am assuming this is definately not the problem.

Dominate males and females will gang up on other males...unless there is plenty of cover....

OK yes they only have 1 bushy corner to hide in .

Ill either throw some more shrubberry in there or divide them up among the other aviaries

Thanks
