.... has anyone ever noticed that before we have a really hot day, the night before is extremely windy!!! Don't know if it's similar in other states or not..

The wind tonight is crazy, there is no doubt we'll see some fallen fences by morning.. Just hope it's not ours.... Or maybe I do, so we can get a new colourbond fence!!! Hehehe

No wind warnings except for the coast though, so I guess it can't be that bad!
Let's just hope it doesn't keep us up all night..

Yeah was bit Stormy here in the Northern Suburbs last night , still pretty blowy now and in for a 36 today :)

Moving up the coast a little it is 26degrees at 8.10am and very still. However yesterday afternoon was wonderful weather according to local and visiting Windsurfers.

Strong winds, thunder/lightning and 3mm of rain. My much better halve went out at 3.30am and covered up all aviaries, I would have gone but slept thru it .

Luckily we didn't lose our fence overnight!!

Lots of thunder and lightning about 3-4am and dogs up and down off the bed, panting and generally being a stresshead!! Luckily I kinda got to sleep in after the initial get up time of 6:30.. lol

yeah I was driving in it at 4 am, brilliant light show , its a bit hard to blow my fences down , but that wind is like that here form december through to march...pete

sure was windy last nite but didnt hear the storm at all slept thru it nd now the winds picking up again in for another windy night by the looks

Windy nites usually mean crap weather the next day or so it seems. He'll I dunno what the weather is doin ATM as I actually had to put a fleece rug on my horse......

6.15PM 24degrees and great windsurfing weather. It really is cool for the time of year.
