Love the lacy look on the wings of the bird in the first pic, but my favourite would be the bird on the left in the second pic. Love the markings on the back.

Platinums I haven't seen before, nice. The whitefaced pied is similar to mothers but better. She will know why I say that if she reads and looks. The pearling looks nice and delicate on the Platinum, more attractive than on some other mutations I think.
Congratulations on your prettys.

Thanks ....
Its a good result after freighting a breeding pair up from Vic only to find out a year later they are both males ( 1 season gone ) then the hunt for suitable mates and more $$$$ spent , a very ordinary first clutch that made me think WHY and then the pay off .
Im keeping the Plat Pearl . The Pied sold within minutes of putting on facebook , deposit sent and lots of nice comments so Im feeling very good at the moment .

Oh hell yeah hyper sensitive ...I would never tell anyone I didnt like their birds mutation , parrot or whatever so I was just making it clear that if nothing nice was going to be said then nothing should be said to ruin my birdie euphoria .
So pleased with these birds , that makes 2 extra special birds from a extraordinarily fantastic breeding season which isnt quite over yet , I have Purple Crowns on their third clutch and more Quarrions woo hoo .
Only dissapointment was my normal princess parrots who have not got their mojo happening at all .
Thansk for the nice comments folks .

Think they are still called reverse pieds zm. Mother has a beautiful "normal" reverse pied who looks a lot like this but with a touch more yellow than this guy has white.

As Finchbreeder says I have a grey and yellow pied with the same back markings. Usually discribed as a saddle-back. Have a cinnamon pearl white-face bred 2011. I must say the plat. pearl is prettier. Bred an Ino white-face 2 years ago, a hawk took it's head off through the front wire netting, Wouldn't you know.!!!!!!
