Don't know if this belongs . . will leave it to the mods

I don't know Paul personally, but I do feel for his situation

Comments welcome

Hi from a very stressed Utopia Birds.

As you may have read about our fight with a American petroleum company called the Mac Group in the the Aviary Life magazine, we are now coming to the last few 2 week to do something to stop it.

We are talking about the Mac trying to set up a workers camp for 1500 workers in a zoning where this proposal is prohibited.

As this camp is to be located some 10 meters away from the breeding complex, it therefore will be impossible for us to carry on with the service we have provided in the last years.

We hope you will see our predicament and are asking for a little help that will make a big difference in the processing of the proposed camp.

If you please could fill out the attached Word file and let your feelings be known to this proposal and the demise of Utopia Birds.

The Word file is a submission of objection to the proposal of the workers camp. please can you fill it in and send it to the address at the top of the submission.
Please copy and past it to a word program and print copies to be filled in and send.

Please help us keep this country a democratic country where people still have a say.
Thanking you

Paul & Cheryl Kreuzen from Utopia Birds.

Dear General Manager,
Re: DA0217/2012- Proposed Temporary Workers Accommodation complex 2 Black Lead Lane Gulgong 2852. Lot 476 DP 755433 Lot DP 755434 Lot 346 DP 755434
An American petroleum company is planning to build a 1500 bed Temporary Workers camp
next to the breeding complex of Utopia Birds as per article in the Aviary Life Magazine. Issue 6 Nov-Dec 2011 page 5 & 6.
As a concerned citizen and fellow aviculturist, I object to the above Development Application for Temporary Workers Accommodation camp for the following reasons;
• Inappropriate location situated 1.5km from a unique historical town.
As well as, a camp of this size, being too close to the existing avicultural business because of security, noise and light factor reasons.
• The proprietors of Utopia Birds - Paul & Cheryl Kreuzen have supplied avicultural live stock to our industry for the last 20 years, this camp would cause the demise of their business.
• Further more I object for the following reasons.

Good grief ...I lived in Gulgong and theres more than enough vacant land to put a camp any where .
Ill be happy to sign the above for you and I really hope it does some good , sheesh small country where you go so as not to annoy or be annoyed by other people and this happens .
Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.
