Has anyone had any sucess using zebras as fosters for other species. This may sound like a dumb question but if you do foster under them do you need to remove their eggs before putting in another species eggs or can you just add them to their clutch....Any advice or sucess stories would be great! Thanks!

Awesome Thanks! Did you replace all the eggs or mixed them in with the zebras existing clutch?

Hi,
I have a pair of zebras fostering double bars and they are doing a great job
I don't recomend mix various species or have baby zebras together with the specie that you want to foster.
I know a case of a spanish breeder that prefered zebras over bengalese as fosters and have good results fostering long tails, diamond firetails, stars, java sparrows, masks, gouldians, blue faced and red faced parrot finches.
