Well Ive seen it and still can not beleive it but its God honest the truth ...
The bloody mice here can climb the legs of the suspended aviaries ...
The legs are that metal stuff , smooth and 1 metre tall and I have now seen a mouse shimmy up the leg and into the aviary ...
Wonder if a spray with cooking oil will slow them down ?
Seeing is believing

Will go sticky and assist them. Get better half to cut some round metal disks or the top of milo (Large) tins and put on legs about 6 inches below cage. Milo tin lids will prevent people cutting themselves.jusdeb wrote:Wonder if a spray with cooking oil will slow them down ?

Hi Jusdeb, mice can climb any slippery surface eventually, they urinate on the surface as they climb which becomes sticky enough for traction to get to where they want. The oil you were talking about would do the same as their urine.Buzzards idea is perfect
