It's heaven on earth
. We visited there in 2005, only for a few hours due to time constraints (we have a 4WD so we drove to the main gate and they met us there and we followed in, drove ourselves out). Staying a few days is now on my bucket list. Time of year can change what you see of course, we were there in early December. You need to book well ahead at the busy times and you can't get your own accommodation down the track, we left the van at Cocklebiddy pub hooked to power but there is an area you can leave the van at the gate (but road from highway is very corrugated, no good for normal road vans).
