Checking my Gouldian’s nest box, I found three chicks dead. They looked like they had just died, only days after hatching. There was food in their crops. Whilst holding the dead in my hand, I noted tiny white mites on the bodies.
Would anyone know what these are and the best treatment?
Regards
Clawd

Clawed Hi Sounds like dust mites. Best cure i know is coopex,as said in earlier posts, mix with water and spray inside nest boxes, brush infact the whole aviary and even the birds as it is quite safe to use but remove water and food before doing it. Cheers Craig
