The sale was very small with only about half the tables used. I was there helping a friend sell some of his surplus finches which enabled me to have a good look around the hall. Clearance rates of benched finches was very high and average for parrots. Finches species seen Gouldian, Aurora, Cuban, African fires, Blue cap, Cordon, O/B Melba, Jacarini, RFPF, BFPF, Black throat, Star, Diamond, W/E Mask, Painted, Yellow rump, Double bars, Zebra. Plenty of mutation birds available, gouldian, zebs, RFPC and African Fire. Unfortunately numbers of the other species were mainly a pair or two. Sorry I diid not write down any prices, forgot pen and paper.

Thanks heaps for your help Wagga :soppy: :soppy: My aviaries now have some order about them........and sold most birds :D

Just a couple of prices I recall:

Diamonds $85-$90 pr
White eared Masks $180/pr :o
Cordons $50-$60/pr......... 8-)
Blue Caps $220/pr
Tri-colours $110/pr
Blue Face $50-$60
Stars $30-45/pr

There were termite nests there also :shifty: ......despite some heavy discounting and aggressive salesmanship most went home...........the fellas were interested but when their Wives caught wind the discussions ended abruptly
