This was just a wild rat and not some sort of native little guy :o

It was in our garage the other day, and today we found it under a planter box that we moved to put up the new holding aviary..

When it was running around, the dogs got to it!! :O

GOOD!

My pug x came in use for once... she was biting at it, it squeaked like her toys do, so she picked it up and shook it!!
Kylie grabbed a hold of it and it died shortly after...

We put it in a plastic bag and bashed it against the pavers before putting in the bin to make sure it was good and dead lol

looks like rattus norwegicus....the brown rat (the ones I keep as pets) but not a native and I don't mind you killing it cos I would too lol
Big difference between a feral rat and a domesticated fancy one....it looks like a pregnant female too so well done :)

I've got hooded rats at work and I am all fine with handling them, but when this one went running out I was screaming like a school girl! lol

Kylie was laughing at me :(
