the tree leaves have been frosted off here which reveal all the wildbird nests
The ones that usually nest in the maple tree are silver eyes and blue wrens.
Previous years they use mostly my horses tail hair.
This year they decided to go with a bit more colour by pinching some baling twine.

Very tricky shredding the twine into fine sections like that.
Wish I'd seen them do it
I do worry about the young ones getting tangled in it.Though horse hair can be just a strong and cutting.
