Hello All,,
I am in the (forunate??) circumstance that I am living with my parents once again....The upside is that I now can keep my gouldians, but alas, I have to share. two or three bottles of my good white wine; to have a decent discussion with my father, about birds....Don't get me wrong, my parents love birds, parrots etc, but it's costing me a fortune in wine...
Anyway, I showed my father a picture of the Scarlet Honeyeater & the Olive Backed Sunbird...His response was..."I will help you in obtainining these birds; AND!!! Will even happly convert one of the back gardens to an aviary to have them!"
So, I'm in the market for some birds....
It's a good thing..I guess I now now need to apply for a licence from NPWS...
Cheers

I say "strike whilst the irons hot". Tell your father you have just put a pair on order with a breeder, a friend of a friend type thing, and we better start building the new aviary. A small ' white lie' for such a good cause I believe!
Life in Port Macquarie is the ultimate Aussie sea change lifestyle.
