Here are a few pics of a walk in avairy in Canberra i went to,had a great time in there,mum and my sister did not like it because the birds would sit on our
heads.Not sure what type of parrots put they where very friendly

Great pics, nice to get close to the birds.
There is a place on the Gold Coast where wild birds I believe come down to the park and get fed, Curummbin Bird Sanctuary.

Yep open to the public everyday except christmas (and new years? I forget). 10-4 in summer and 11-4 in winter.
Not just parrots either, we have a variety of finches and softbills in there as well.
(if you want to see the Whydahs, go in spring ;-) )
