In 3 months you'll have the original 10 plus 5X8=40 young equals 50 birds.
In 6 months you'll have the original 50 plus 25X8=200 young equals 250 birds
In 9 months you'll have the original 250 plus 125X8=1000 young equals 1250 birds
In 12 months you'll have the original 1250 plus 625X8=5000 young equals 6250 birds
