Hi all, I know I've been quiet in the forum recently but I'm still alive!! Just very very busy with my new job.

Anyway, I'm trimming a big paperbark as we speak, so if anyone wants some to rebrush aviaries you're welcome to it. Only catch is I'm only free today, then working the weekend!! Get in touch on 0424033697 if you'd like.

Cheers
Luke

Can't do much about getting brush but I'd love to hear about the new job - what birds, what interesting ideas they have (housing, feeding, breeding, health & nutrition etc), what changes you've made or are changes are on the drawing board?

Lots of ideas, but not enough time!!! still getting into the swing of everything. I'm probably the most knowledgable finch person there, but we only have 4 finches at present, so haven't really learnt too much on that front. All the other birds (curlews, plovers, kingfishers, pigeons, the list is nearly endless!!!) have been a big eye opener, and many are looking at breeding now or in the near future. The birds of prey are bloody awesome too. Had a black breasted buzzard sitting on my glove eating out the palm of my hand (literally) just the other day...

Glad to hear you are enjoying the new job Spanna. Now just gently keep mentioning the merits of finches to your boss/s. :shifty:
