Hello,
this is my first post outside of my intro post...and I would love some input as to what you may think I have on my hands here.

I know he's a gould, but after that I'm a little lost. He really caught my eye and I didnt look too closely at colour, besides making sure he was healthy, before I bought.
Since I first had goulds when I was a teen (not too long ago) there were not as many mutations around as there are now, I swear! I thought he might be yellow-backed but then he's not all yellow at all. Im hoping that he's an orange head (looking promising)

Thanks for any input!

Definitely a yellow-headed. The mutation is either recessive dilute (as Craig said) or double-factor European yellow-back.

Sorry, are they too big? I read the size limit and resized them on photobucket to what I thought was the right size?

Glad to hear your suggestions re. Colour, thank you!!

No no no! Not too big. Just perfect!

I can't get mine that big, but would love to.

For some reason, there is a very small size limit on the upload of pics. So I have had to downsize the pics I have wanted to post and you can hardly see them. I wish I could get mine to look like yours.

So you used photobucket huh?

Might give that a go and see what happens.

Thank you :D

The size for pics on the forum is 640 x 480. If you right click on a pic on your computer it should give you an option to resize.

We would prefer pics to be loaded directly to the forum rather than using a program like photobucket. Sometimes the pics are removed from the album by the album owner and when that happens it leaves the forum with a blank space saying "This photo is longer available"

All the photos in this topic are 640 x 480 and posted directly from my computer to the forum and are of good size.

To me this Bird looks more like a AY and not like an AD, not enough green in the Wings to be a Australian Dilute but,let it moult out completely to be identified with certainty, also the Breast colouring does not fit an AD but, this could just be a variation, Time holds all the answers, keep us posted.
