Split blue breeding - Perth

Want to know how you guys breeding split to blue are going with breeding as mine have not done well, out
of 4prs two went to nest, one pr went down once, hatched 4 lost them all within the first 3 days,then 2 weeks later lost the hen, the other lays 5 egg
and hatches one and is sitting on 4 egg. so far 1 possible split to show for the breeding season.The norals have done
very well.

Last year I bred 4 blues from blue to split, this year no blues, but some possible splits.Talking to a few other breeders say they have not done much better

out of 2 pr bred 5 2 blues 3 splis but unfortunatley the 2 blues died nd a split wen wen had that very cold snap of 3 close to 0degres mornings but next seaon will hopefully bostting numbers up to 5-6 prs of splits to a blue bird so lets hope better year next year also planning on changing the avaries abit with bit more protection
