Hi Guys, Now that I am essentially unemployed due to surgical complications, I figure I need to do something to pay for the menagerie so I thought I would put out feelers on how useful a postal faecal testing service might be. What would the service need to be able to provide? What prices are people paying elsewhere for an equivalent service? Any suggestions or criticisms welcome.

Regards

Danny

No, I can only do what can be achieved at my desk with a microscope. I wish I could - it would save me a butt load of money each year.

Hi Danny,

If you provided us with a collection kit for us to mail the faecal sample in I would use your service as a routine check on my birds health. Not sure what the current rate is, but so long as your prices are reasonable I would use this service.

Cheers

I always feel guilty telling others to send stuff to Colin when we have our own resident vets who go out if their way to be helpful. I think it would be great, only question is whether AFF has rules that mean it would require the mods' approval....

Depending on costs would be useful for peace of mind if nothing else and also as a diagnostic tool ...Id be interested .
