Its been a very sad day today , woke up to my pair of Cordons stiff as boards .....our Staffy who has been so far an excellent pet and not a problem around the other animals went stupid last night and terrorised the aviary holding the OBs and Cordons.....
I think he may have been trying to flush out a mouse but anyway he scared the poor little birds to death , they seemed to roost OK after the event but obviously the shock was to much....
kinda wondering now about the robustness of the Cordons I had as the OBs seemed to just kick along without any dramas..
Anyway he is in the doghouse literally and not likely to come out till I get over this set back....as I said very sad.

Thanx folks ...no defineately no bones , no cuddles ...nothing ...he is a sensitive fella and he knows Im not happy with him I actually didnt see much of him today even when we had lunch outside he didnt hang around for his snack....hope it sinks in that he has been bad....tomorrow will be better .
Good news for the Yellow Emblemas anyway they moved out of the breeding cabinet and into the avairy , least they would be happier.

sorry for your loss Deb.
maybe you could set up a temporary fence to keep the mutt a certain distance from the aviary, leave it in place until birds are accustomed to the dog and vice versa
