Hi all, i have just been in the aviary and discovered that one of the nests has 3 babies in it.......
I am wanting to know what i should now be doing to support the parents and babies more.
Oh yeah they are zebra finches and its my first batch of babies, so am very new and nervous about it.
Any help would be fantastic
Thanks

Hi Zoe,
Congratulations

If you are not doing so already, start feeding them green food, shredded broad leafed greens are good, egg and biscuit mix, green seeds on the stem. You might also consider soaked seed. These are what I find the best breeding foods for zebras.
Try and keep your fingers out of the nests, the less disturbance the better.
Other than that, just watch and wait
they'll be flying around in no time.
Cheers,
J
