The alexs are about 3 years old and did have young this year so thats good, owner wanted to move onto more cockies and other bigger birds.
The red rump blue cockbird has some really nice colour and the same goes for the green pied hen. I cant wait till later next year to see what funky colours these pairs will toss . Again never thought I would get into the bigger birds but its helps that the GF wanted Alexs now I can more freely spend money on bird related expenses

Nice, I wish my wife would show an interest in the birds, the time she ever did was about 30 years ago when she said she like goldfinches, so I got a pair & they were wild caught & kept trying to get out of top of aviary.
I have never had as much luck with Neophema's as with my finches, budgies, quails ect.

So I lost my cubans in my flight cage on thursday so I wont take the risk again having smaller birds in that cage. That means more room for some Neophema's
I picked up two new birds today and I think my pairs for the next season are going to be pretty good.
Here is the new boy(it just was pouring down rain here so he is wet ) that I am going to pair with my pied green girl and the new normal hen with my normal cockbird
I also got a few pics of a wild bird trying to get into the cages for some seed I think its a red wing but not 100%

Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.
