A yes I'd forgotten you need a license in NSW.
Gouldians aren't hard to breed given the right conditions. A well protected aviary in colder areas, that's about it for special treatment. Mine just get fed what the others get fed, and they've brought out seven this year :)
Most of those will breed in the springtime. Bengalese anytime, gouldians in the winter.

i am thinking of starting with a mixed aviary 1 pair of ruddies, painteds, orange breasteds and maybe blue face parrot finches
i have a few questions:
can they live together without fighting plus when breeding comes around?
do they have the same diet?
what nestboxes should i use for when it comes?

this might not happen yet but these are the pair i like but i am gonna get another galah first.

Sounds like a great collection
One pair of each of those, I can't see any fighting problems. What size aviary were you thinking of?
They all have similar diets. Good seed mix + greens + live food in the breeding season. None of those species are actually dependant on live food to breed, but usually produce better on it. If you're not going to feed them live food, try and buy them from breeders who haven't either.
All of those will readily use brush, but will also use cane nesting baskets, and half open nest boxes. A mixture of all three would be good :)
