Calci gents are a bigger species of fly / maggot and the name is just a marketing name coz reptile peeps don't like the idea of maggots.

Given how hard crickets are to keep alive at that size, that's an awful lot of crickets.... You'll be feeding out a 100 a day plus unless you can provide all the right humidities and stuff.

Nah,don't think so,they have stripes on their backs with hairs.
They are Blow flies maggots, there are two types, green and brown blow flies. Non are good for finches and certainly not something you would want in or near your aviaries. None of my birds would eat those hairy maggots, however they might be OK for Lizards and Frogs. I only buy Bush Fly (House fly) maggots.
