Beechwood Averies

Has anyone been to Beechwood Averies near Port/Wauchope. maybe heading over that way on the weekend and wouldnt mind having a look while Im there. Any idear of what selection of birds he may have. PS there is also a breader at Pembroke, anyone been there?

Yep, Clarkie has alot of different stuff all the time........alot of local ideas/news passes through there. I might be calling in later in the week, is there anything in particular that you're after.......No spotter's fee
Mark is still at Pembroke I think, but I dont think he's been trading as a dealer for some time now...........old websites and search engines still have him listed though. Best to call him first rather than just drop in, he might have something of his own to sell.
Kempsey-Macleay Bird Club has a few finch keepers. I'm not sure if you know them, send me a PM & I'll give you the club's contact details

Thanks for the reply guys, I would like a pair of red brows but Id also like to go and have a look and see what he has. Do you need to ring and make a booking . I know one member of the Kempsey bird club which Ive purchased some birds from who has quite a good selection of finches

Clarkie (Beechwood Aviaries) is nearly always there..........Sunday mornings can be an exception if the ocean is calm......he's a "fair weather fisherman"....you can tell him I said that....he knows the seas I've been out in.....

PS: Went up to Beechwood on Friday. He has a large selection of mostly locally bred finches just in.....heaps of foreigns and quite alot of natives......best priced dealer you'll find.......he'll definitely sort you out.
