Boy am I lucky !!!!!! Feeeeeew !

Well today I decided to do a revamp on my patio aviary i have and its perches , I had been dithering around and then my partner said...ummmmmm your parrot male has just flown away !!!!!! ( I was outside ) panicking I had realised one of the doors had become stuck halfway up and he had flown right out and was sitting cheeping as his mate from the tree....I got my net and attempted to catch him..with little hope as two miners swooped in and then chased him away...I was very upset and really gutted as he was gorgeous and she was calling for him !! ...admitting stupidity and defeat I glumly continued inside to get a cup of coffee and my partner said not to worry and we will try and find a new mate for my girl...but I wanted my male back :-( ...then I went outside and an hour later I heard a cheep cheep cheep !!!!...there he was..he's come ack and was sitting on the side of my patio aviary !! Well this continued with me trying to catch him for ages and his mate calling for him for about an hour with no luck :-( ...nearly giving up I Then I though that If we moved the aviary inside the garage (which was empty bar one bigger empty aviary he might follow...that he did :-) !! ...so he flew straight in eventually and he landed on the caged sides... ;-)
We closed the garage door....on other hour later we had coaxed him into the empty aviary and eventual caught him!!!!!! I can't believe my luck..catching a bird the had escaped into the wild world!!! Feeewwww....wow thank goodness and boy am I lucky !! :-)

Tell me about it..I was very worried about him...just happy he liked him mate enough to follow her around...we moved the Ivary into our garage after numerous attempts to catch him, he followed and flew right in and my husband quickly shut the door...and then we netted him. Thank god !!!
