Hi all, i'm not a new member but its been a few years since my last post so thought I better re-introduce myself.
I'm a keen gouldian keeper from northern Tassie and the finches have taken a bit of a back seat the last few years while I built my new house but now that things have settled down I have started breeding them again albeit with mixed results this year, Id be keen to hear from any other tassie gouldian breeders on how they went this year. I look forward to frequenting the forum a bit more and being a regular contributor, cheers. Roy

Welcome back, did you have to build new aviaries along with your new house?

Hi bluebutterfly, when i built my avairy i made it in sections so it could be pulled apart reasonably easy which worked out well.
Hi samdavis, yes too right, we had a few freezing southerly fronts blow in from nowhere this year which made things quite difficult, all part of the game.
