No photos today. First cross in Australia of my Lime cock with Purple breasted blue. Happened earlier today while candling a few eggs. I accidently bumped and hunted a hen from her nest awhere 2 young chicks had just hatch out. It might or might not be an expensive lesson learnt here. Very strange looking colour of the chicks .....time will tell what pans out from this exercise.

Only days away too from the end result of the full mutation cross of a Lime cock x White Breasted Blue Hen....eggs are fertile The above info could quite possible be the start of 2 or 3 totally new mutations. All i require is the splits and another 12 months

No mistake on the above breeding combos - These crosses are house well away from the other Limes and blue Gouldians.

Might not be as exciting as breeding the first Fawn Pied Diamond but I'm happy with how things are going.

Wildbill flew the coupe a few months back.

Some on the forum may be able to answer on his behalf.

Yep I have found some of his posts with pictures from another forum and can be found here..

Correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure these are just double splits atm so there is a little more breeding to be done but so far so good.

Must say im always excited about the unknow and cant wait to see the visual result of both genes combined.

The wings look just a tiny bit different, but too soon to say where this will go. Shall watch with interest. Thanks for putting the link on.
