This Wednesday May 14 at 7.30pm is the next FSA Smithfield meeting at the Brenan Park Community Hall, Bourke St, Smithfield.

Well known finch and softbill breeder and one of the founders of AFF David Holmes (aka E Orix) will be the main attraction talking on Aviary Plants and Grasses—Which, Where and Why? David will outline a variety of plants and grasses suitable for finch aviaries. His presentation will not only suggest a range of plants but will also explain reasons why each is used. Some plants are suited to specific finch species.

We always have great raffle prizes (including a pair of birds) and you get to hear me waffle on too! What more can you ask for!

We're a friendly bunch and everyone is very welcome to attend. Would be great to meet a few AFFers in person - please make a point of introducing yourself.

Very interesting topic and when I went to David's place he mentioned all of his plants were in the aviaries for specific reasons would be great to learn more!

Of course if you are able to attend it would be well worth your while to hear David share his knowledge and even ask any other questions after the presentation

I'm editing the video... Might take a while as I'm overlaying his powerpoint slides over parts of the video which is not as simple as I'd hoped.
