I just had a young Gouldian fledge, it has a white bib and patchy white feathers on the back of is head. Other than that it looks normal colouration. Two other young fledged and look normal.
Hen was BH PB normal and the Cock was a BH PB, but may be split to AY.
Has anyone seen this before?

Is there any tell signs of being split to AY if the bird is a EY with a purple breasts?
Obviously it would be split if one of the parents are AY but both parents of these birds are splits not visuals.
Rich.

Occasionally there will be a tendancy to have greenish feathering on the back.
