Diatomaceous Earth

Hey guys just thought i would share a couple of useful things i use Diatomaceous Earth for in my finch keeping and breeding.
If preparing nest boxes sprinkle a fine covering of Diatomaceous Earth over the base of the nest box and cover in a fine layer of grasses/nesting material this prevents lice in the nest.
Another use is sprinkling a layer on the bottom of meal worm breeding tubs/containers to prevent codling moth larva and mites hope i have given a few useful ideas, thanks for taking your time to read.
