Hi guys,

No I'm not going mad! I just witnessed the strangest thing with my Cordon pair it was like a reversal in roles. I just released the RCCB cock back into the aviery after being isolated in the hospital cage for a week on antibiotics because it had contracted Streptococcus and after the pair reacquainted themselves and they were getting close, the hen was grooming the cock and then the cocks tail started quivering like the hen would do to solicit copulation and then the hen mounted the cock!! What tha? It happened again for about ten seconds each time and the cock seemed quite content to be mounted! Has anyone ever seen this before?
