I remember when this was on the TV and thinking how good Don's aviaries look in the landscaped setting.

As I remember it, Mr Burke bred the red-eared fire-taileds but lost them all because he didn't separate the young and a family feud erupted in the aviary! A lesson in managing species correctly especially if warned how to manage them!

You are correct Tom and with many other hard to come by species but your work comes first and you can't be in two places at once,sad but true.
