Thought I'd pop up a topic for the Tri coloured Bengalese for good measure.
Here's a link to the discussion about its inheritance.

Beautiful, Aussie_Bengo, I love those birds. I can remember my first "society finches". A friend bought me some from Pet Smart, the manager chased my friend down on the freeway, caused them to pull over on the freeway. Apparently one pair were the parents to a nest of four babies. My friend followed them back to the pet store and gave all pairs back to them. When my friend arrived, telling me the story, I called the manager and let him have it (nicely). He asked what I wanted, I said you should have boxed babies up and sent them with my friend. It worked out that they gave the four babies free, with the parents that were already purchased. I really like their happy personalities. Mmm, need to add to my want list. Anyways your bird is beautiful, never seen a tricolored before. Thanks. Regards.

I hate Bengalese but like Craig said this bird is very striking. Well done
A world without birds is a world not worth living in :)

I like the old Bengalese. This one is striking. Have I seen it before on the forum? I seem to recall some discussion about it being a mosaic or similar.
Maybe I'm getting my wires crossed...
