Hi Paul, I built my first aviary with a timber frame but now have been using Ali tube and plastic joiners which is
quick and neat. You start keeping a list of what it is costing but soon throw it away and just spend what is needed.
No way is cheap and I doubt that you will get a trades man under $100 Hr.Have you tried finding one on Gum Tree ?
Cheers Greg.

Paul sometimes there are good second hand ones about. facebook, petlink ? gumtree, tradingpost. The only thing with them you would most likely need a trailer.

Have you thought about converting a shed to an aviary ? there is currently a 5m x 3m shed on gumtree with slabs for $550 , the only trouble is its zinc but you could paint it...Pete

For my first aviary I converted the kids old cubby house. You may be able to find a cubby cheaper than a shed.
