Few months ago, the construction of a newer, state-of-the-art data center was completed, and now we are ready to start the migration of all of our servers to the new location. Your hosting account resides on one of the servers scheduled for migration.

The migration for your server is scheduled to take place on December 8th 2014, in the time frame between 18.00PM and 21:00PM . We promise that we will do our best to complete the migration for less than an hour.

You may not notice any any disruption or you may not be able to log for a couple of hours.

There was a rumour being spread on an other Forum that the Aussie Finch Forum was off the web, and I had a few problems logging on yesterday, I can tell you I got a bit panicky
as to what I was going to do with my spare time.
So please listen to Orix and put in a Donation if you can afford to. We cannot afford not to have this Forum.

I second this sentiment.

The staff should know that if the operational costs cannot be met, I would be more than happy to donate space on my servers until a suitable alternative can be found.

That rumour was back in 2012.
It wasn't a rumour so much as that we were having some problems at that time.
Thankfully those issues are in the past and fingers crossed they stay there.
