Hi its Tony here and i just joined a couple of weeks back. I had birds as a kid and at different times on airforce postings. I have had 3 aviaries for the past 12 yrs with mainly zebs, bengos, and cubans , diamond doves and bourkes. I am now getting new colourbond aviaries and have bought some gouldians which i am happy to say one pair has just started laying plus got a lovely pair of ruddies from the FSA sale the other week. Also have a pair of blue face parrot finches which have built a nest and are taking mealworms so fingers crossed there. Will have another new aviary in the new year, so will start to get rid of the zinc ones which are starting to show some age. In the end, i hope to have 5 aviaries. Was very impressed meeting others at the bird sale plus some other breeders in the Hunter Valley and getting my questions answered. This forum is good in that , within a day after asking a question, you get a few answers.
