I was feeding my finches today and found a chick on the floor, it's probably a long shot but wondering if anyone can identify it.
The possibilities are star, painted, red head, jacarini, strawberry, Cuban, red faced parrot, aurora or white headed nun.
It was still alive so I am feeding it at the moment.

I know parrot-finches have the fluorescent nodules, not sure about the rest.

My first thought was BFPF, but as you don't have them, then I concur with the others, RFPF....they can often hang out of the nest, especially in the heat, and sometimes fall out....

Gouldian young have black bills though, so definitely a PF.

yes the red head is red browed firetail.
i thought the red face parrot finches might of had young the other day from the way they were acting.
