In November I passed through the Andies. I saw quite a bit in terms of how the native people live in the high altitude.
One thing that stuck with me was their use of the powder derived from the maca root.
Have a read on google, its the super food of super foods.
We brought back a heap and its as expensive there as it is here (though I didnt know it could be purchased here).
I was thinking it could be good for the birds, in particular the blue goulds and my cup nesters who could benefit from the protein boost..
Its high in protein, amino acids and all that other healthy crap.
So has anyone used it ? or does anyone think it could be a good supplement?
Have a read I think its worth experimenting with. I know I will be.
anyone used maca as a diet supplement?
