What a shame there was only 3 in the clutch - her mate missed out on a snack. If not Javas, then some other munia I'd say. I wonder if it tastes like chicken.

Not what I was expecting at all.

They say squab is the best poultry you can eat, so probably tender.

I would think few too many bones for me whole.

I will never look at canary chicks in the nest the same again. LOL.

I'm a bit concerned. Are you implying your number of fledglings may take a dive? To be safe maybe best to feed only after you've had a feed! :crazy:
