Really,
Had some similar a couple of years ago, just thought they were dirty yellows. Sold off for near on nothing.

As far as I am concerned Aust Yellow and these birds are all forms of pied. But curious to find out where they are as it is time the gene showed up somewhere other than Australia.

These birds are from South Africa.
Here's a few extra pics. I do have more and will upload when I find the time.

Hey Guys
The birds in question is indeed an established mutation. It occured in 2010 in the collection of Micky and Trevor Bennet. As the parents came from Manny de Freittas they decided to give him the bloodline once it got going. Seems they have decided on the name "Yellow rump" and the mutation is dominant. Up until now they were the only two breeders who had them, and the first 4 birds were released at the annual Gouldian auction 2 weeks ago, and sold between R4200 and R6500 a bird! (Normals are around R400 a pair) Manny has also bred the first Blue Yellow rump and was on show at the auction.
