Hi everyone

I'm new to this site and to breeding finches, I am from proston queensland.
I am currently setting up my aviary to house and breed gouldian finches in black, red and yellow head normals and possibly down the track breed them in white breast.

So any info and tips would be great.

My aviary that I have at the moment is 6m x 2.4m x 2m currently split in 3 flights one end and bird room the other end, but I'm going to change the bird room a bit by making it smaller and put an extra flight in the aviary.

Thanks mark

Welcome to the forum. One of the most important things with any avairy/s is to make sure the gaps round the doors are no more that 6mm so that mice and snakes can't sneak in. All the best with you Goulds.
