How does the pied genetics work. Recessive etc.

There are a few different pied mutations, dominant,autosomal recessive,sexlinked recessive and a grizzle pied mutation. All need to bred to work out just what pied mutation you have unless you already know from a previous breeders experience of the bird. Craig

And it is much easier to indicate what is normal when you know what sort of finch. As some are more often one sort and some more often the other.
