Preparing Moxidectin Plus

I am about to mix with a litre of water which will last one change per day for 5 days.

I have read on this forum that sweetening the taste with sugar is a good move.
How much white sugar should I use to mix one litre?
Is my intended use over 5 days a good thing to do?

This is what Marcus Pollard recommends on his Clifton Aviaries site.
I have switched to putting 1 or 2 drops straight ( not mixed with water) onto the neck of my finches. Have not had any problems. Takes a bit longer but all done in 1 day and I know they all have it.
