5 at the moment. Want more , wife wants other things first, slowly getting her interested. Planning 2 more at 8 meter by 2 meter by 2.2 high. Also have the problem of not enough space. Cheers Grant

Sounds like a good start. And I think many of us have the converting the other half problem. In my case hubby thinks work sheds are more important than avairys. And the lack of space problem. Good luck with converting the good lady.

placed 4 pr plus 1 female of red face parrot finches into my aviary 2 weeks ago , all 4 pairs nesting.2 in boxes 1 in a horizontal log and of course 1 pair in my nesting material box. Long way to go but feeling good .Just had to share, first time colony breeding

Picked up last 2 pairs of TriColour parrot finches on the weekend, now have 4 pairs + 1 female . All getting on fine just sorting out their pecking order. 2 pairs checking out boxes already, hears hoping. Thanks for the welcome to the forum . Regards Grant
